چکیده
Different levels of NPK fertilizer were used to improve the growth, yield, and fiber morphology two kenaf varieties. Therefore, a field experiment was conducted in summer season 2021 at Grdarasha Field, College Agricultural Engineering Sciences, Salahaddin University-Erbil. The results revealed that adding rate 100 kg/ha caused improved growth yield characteristics includes; plant height, stem diameter, leaf number, total fresh by almost (3.35 m, 25.88 mm, 250.10, 246.93 t/ha), respectively. While, best values dry matter core bast fibers recorded when applied proportion 150 which (98.40, 57.80, 39.73, 15.13 Morphological properties also fertilizer. Both noted be for enhancing compared control treatment. Finally, based on could recommend farmers use as factor increase its quality.

Genetic Control of Fiber Yield and Quality in Kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus L.)
The study was conducted to investigate the ge-netic basis of kenaf fiber yield and quality In two sets of generations derived from 1X51 x Gha-na07 and Gregg x Ghana07 crosses. Analysis of generation means using weighted least squares procedure was performed on stalk dry weight, bast percentage, days to flowering, plant height, and basal stalk diameter . Analysis of generation means revealed tha...
متن کاملEffect of Root Knot Nematode on Growth and Agronomic Traits of Hibiscus cannabinus L. Varieties
The purpose of the current study was to determine the effect of root-knot nematode infection on the growth of kenaf. Seeds of sixteen (16) varieties of kenaf, comprising of eight from Australia, three local and five accessions from Bangladesh were planted under controlled condition and inoculated with four level of 0, 1000, 5000 and 10000 RKN eggs per plant. The growth parameters of height, sta...
متن کاملCharacterization of Developmental- and Stress-Mediated Expression of Cinnamoyl-CoA Reductase in Kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus L.)
Cinnamoyl-CoA reductase (CCR) is an important enzyme for lignin biosynthesis as it catalyzes the first specific committed step in monolignol biosynthesis. We have cloned a full length coding sequence of CCR from kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus L.), which contains a 1,020-bp open reading frame (ORF), encoding 339 amino acids of 37.37 kDa, with an isoelectric point (pI) of 6.27 (JX524276, HcCCR2). متن کاملOptimized Pretreatment of Kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus) Phloem Insulation Cotton
Using response surface methodology, the pretreatment conditions of kenaf fibers were optimized to improve the tensile strength of kenaf phloem insulation cotton (KPIC). The effects and interactions of three parameters—sodium hydroxide concentration (X1), soaking time (X2), and beating time (X3)—on the tensile strength of the kenaf fibers were investigated. The Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) ...
متن کاملEffects of Acetylation on the Dimensional Stability and Decay Resistance of Kenaf ( Hibiscus cannabinus L. ) Fiberboard
The objective of this study was to investigate the influence of the acetylation treated kenaf fiber, Phenol-formaldehyde resin content level, and three fungi species on the dimensional stability and decay resistance of high density non-wood composition boards. A standard ASTM method was used to evaluate weight loss and thickness change. The linear shrinkage and expansion of each species were al...
